Evaluations
Dr. Newman conducts comprehensive speech-language evaluations that assess your child's speech and language development. Standardized test measures as well as informal assessment and observations are used to document your child's communication strengths and those areas that may require additional support. The information generated during this process allows for the determination to be made if intervention is necessary and which areas should be the focus of intervention. A written report summarizing the findings and clinical recommendations is provided following the evaluation. Dr. Newman will review these findings with you and discuss any questions that you might have.
